What’s Important To Jesus: Background
Framing
The Gospels describe the good news that the Kingdom of God is here and the Jesus is the King. They demonstrate how God is becoming King. The Gospels are arranged to frame their content so that we will understand what God is up to – how he is becoming King. We can therefore look at the beginning of each of the gospels to gain an understanding of what the priorities are – what’s important to Jesus.
